The heart of any solar PV system is the inverter and AES will use the inverter that is best suited to the job at hand. The Current market leaders are SMA, Fronius and Power One these are our preferred choices. All these manufacturers offer either a web based monitoring system or alternatively a very handy wireless/wired display unit which provides you with instantaneous and historical generation data for your system.

Panasonic

Widely considered as the best panel on the market due to their high efficiency levels and small surface area, perfect for domestic installations when space is lacking, intelligent software predicts that you can gain slightly more performance in low level conditions with this panel. However, the price does come at a premium.

REC

An unrecognized name unless in the solar industry.

For the last couple of years REC have been in the top 3 of an independent test carried out by Photon. The panel can be supplied with either a black or silver frame and can be mounted on both the long and short sides giving it a slight installation advantage. This is a great panel for both domestic and commercial installations.

Suntech

The world’s largest producer of solar panels with a global capacity of 2,400 MW and more than 20,000,000 panels installed across 80 countries, they can be mounted on both the short and long side and come with bypass diodes. These panels are suitable for both domestic and commercial installations.

Solarworld

These panels are made in Germany. The build quality of this panel is second to none. The Solarworld panel is suitable for on roof installations but they really come into their own when looking to install an in roof system. Solarworld offer a bespoke in roof system for their panel which we believe leads to the best finish in the industry.
